Staying in Casa Ana Rita was a really lovely experience. The whole family took care of us from the very beginning (they came to pick us up from the bus station), throught the middle of the visit (delicious food and reccommendations of lots of Santiago’s attractions) to the very end. Even on the last morning Rita arranged a car to take us to one more museum, we missed the previous day! We stayed at Casa Ana Rita in April 2016. Unfortunately we could stay there only for 2 days, we wish it was longer 🙁 Ana, Rita and their family were the most hospitable people we met in whole Cuba! And Rita’s perfect English was such a convenience for us, as we didn’t know Spanish well… The house is in a beautifull neighbourhood, rooms were perfectly clean and food was delicious. Very nice place to stay Me and a friend visited Santiago de Cuba for the first time in July 2016 and stayed here for a rough week. If we come back to Santiago we’ll definitely stay at Casa Ana Rita again. We felt very welcome in the house and family and all were very friendly. The family is so nice and speaks Spanish/English. Nice, clean and a lot of space in the rooms. The breakfast was great with juice, bread, coffee/tea, fruit.
